All carrier decisions are pre-programmed based on company policies. Unless otherwise
programmed the system will automatically choose the least cost carrier. Our software removes
ìmethod of shippingî decisions from your operators. For example, the operator never has to
remember which carrier to use when shipping to Quebec or Alberta.
Shipment Processing Accountability
Our system can be programmed to accept individual user names and passwords for each
operator. This will relate a shipper with each shipment. It assigns responsibility and
accountability to each shipment leaving your loading dock. It can measure the productivity
of each operator.
Override Accountability
UFMS software records every possible decision whether it is programmed or not. Override, or
shipments processed other than as prompted by the system, require an override user name and
password to be completed. This ensures that the manager is aware of the override and the
shipper who overrode the process is accountable.
